Recap Of Delete Uber App

This is a recap of the #Deleteuber campaign and the damage it cost to Uber.

More then 200,000 people deleted their apps for Uber car, after the hashtag #DeleteUber was created 8 days ago, according to a report from The New York Times. On Saturday, people gathered at John F. Kennedy International Airport to protest President Donald Trump's executive order on immigration restrictions their are still Lawyers working there pro bono . Then, around the same time that the New York Taxi Workers Alliance announced it would not be serving JFK Airport between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. (E.T.) (to stand in solidarity with the protestors), Uber tweeted that it had turned off its surge pricing. Many customers interpreted that Uber company's willingness to continue service at JFK as a disruption to the taxi drivers' boycott. Ubers CEO Travis Kalanick announced he was quitting his position as a member of President Trump's economic advisory committee. Last night, Nordstrom announced that it would stop carrying Ivanka Trump's line of women's clothing, shoes, and handbags due to "poor sales." The company did not specify how much sales have declined. Ivanka's line was one of the brands targeted by the #GrabYourWallet campaign, which have been very outspoken to consumers to stop buying products associated with the Trump family.

I still believe this damage is temporary and Uber Car will be back to its Glory days very shortly.
